THERAPIST
Erica Reeves, MA
Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern
Erica is passionate about creating a warm, nonjudgmental space where clients feel safe to be themselves. In a world full of expectations about who we should be, she believes therapy should be a place where you can slow down, explore your experiences with curiosity, and learn to embrace your authentic self.
She earned her Bachelor's degree in Psychology and her Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Florida Gulf Coast University. During graduate school, she discovered a passion for working with college-aged students and young adults navigating life transitions, identity exploration, and the challenges that come with change.
Erica takes a holistic approach to mental health care, recognizing the connection between the mind and body. Along with traditional talk therapy, she enjoys incorporating mindfulness, meditation, sound healing, somatic movement, and expressive arts for clients who are interested in an integrative approach to healing. She also utilizes evidence-based therapies including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Internal Family Systems (IFS), tailoring treatment to each client's unique goals and needs.
She works with children, teens, and adults experiencing anxiety, grief, neurodivergence, relationship challenges, self-esteem concerns, life transitions, and everyday stress. Erica believes every client deserves an individualized approach and values building a genuine, trusting therapeutic relationship where growth, healing, and self-discovery can flourish.
Her goal is to help clients reconnect with themselves, build resilience, and move forward with greater confidence, self-compassion, and hope.
