Brianna Garcia, MA

Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern

Brianna is a Registered Mental Health Counseling Intern. She graduated from Florida State University with a Bachelor of Arts and Sciences in Psychology and a Bachelor of Human Sciences in Family and Child Sciences. In addition, Brianna earned a Master of Arts in Mental Health Counseling at Boston College.

Brianna has experience working with children and their families, with differing mental health concerns in the public school setting. She worked closely with children who have struggled with self-esteem, anxiety, depression, trauma, family and peer conflict, anger management, and much more. Brianna incorporates a variety of therapeutic interventions, including solution-focused, cognitive behavioral, family systems, trauma-informed, and play therapy. She recognizes the value of children’s voices and their strengths. One of Brianna’s favorite quotes is by Dr. Garry Landreth- “Toys are children’s words, and play is their language.”

Brianna is passionate about mental health, building strong relationships, and empowering individuals to reach their full potential. Individuals have the innate capacity to build resilience and cope with adversity. However, access to compassionate and authentic support is needed. Brianna is here to be that support for others.
