Katrina Kilburn is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who provides compassionate, evidence-based care for children ages 6 and up, adolescents, and adults. She is passionate about helping individuals improve their mental health while feeling seen, heard, and supported every step of the way.
Katrina earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Mount Carmel College of Nursing and also holds a Master of Social Work. Before becoming a nurse practitioner, she practiced as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, including working in the school setting. This unique background allows her to approach medication management with the perspective of both a therapist and a prescriber. She believes in treating the whole person by considering each client's unique experiences, relationships, environment, and goals when developing a treatment plan.
Throughout her career, Katrina has worked in inpatient and outpatient settings, correctional facilities, and schools, giving her experience caring for individuals with a wide range of mental health needs. She specializes in the evaluation and treatment of ADHD, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, and other mood-related conditions.
Katrina's approach is collaborative, holistic, and client-centered. She believes medication is just one piece of the healing process and works closely with clients, families, and therapists to develop individualized treatment plans that support lasting wellness. Her goal is to create a safe, welcoming space where clients feel empowered to ask questions, participate in their care, and build a path toward improved mental health and overall well-being.
