Angie Schilaty, MA
Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern
Angie is a Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern who earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Texas Woman’s University and her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Walden University. She brings many years of life experience that shape her understanding of work-life balance, family dynamics, and life transitions. Angie works with teens, young adults, and women navigating anxiety, depression, grief, ADHD, autism, trauma, religious trauma, parenting challenges, and relationship concerns.
Her approach is trauma-informed and neuroaffirming, integrating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotion-Focused Therapy, mindfulness, and somatic techniques to support emotional regulation and meaningful, values-driven change. Angie believes therapy should be a place where clients feel seen, supported, and understood, and she works collaboratively to help each person build practical coping skills while fostering self-compassion and resilience.
Whether you're facing a difficult season, navigating a major life transition, or simply looking to better understand yourself, Angie is passionate about helping you find greater clarity, balance, and well-being.
